Rapid Test
BNP Fast Test Kit (Immunofluorescence Assay)

Getein BNP Fast Test Kit is used as an aid in the diagnosis of congestive heart failure and for the risk stratification of patients with acute coronary syndromes (ACS).

Intended Use

The BNP Fast Test Kit (Immunofluorescence Assay) is intended for in vitro quantitative determination of B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) in human plasma and whole blood samples. This test is used as an aid in the diagnosis of congestive heart failure (CHF) and for the risk stratification of patients with acute coronary syndromes (ACS).

About BNP

B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) is a hormone that regulates blood pressure. The heart is the main source of circulating BNP in humans, released into the blood in response to increased heart pressure. Various studies have demonstrated that elevated levels of circulating BNP are found in the early stages of CHF, which occurs when the heart cannot deliver a sufficient amount of blood to the body. The level of BNP in the blood continues to rise as CHF progresses.
