Getein AMH Fast Test Kit is used as an aid in indicating ovarian functional reserve, and also helps to diagnose menstrual disorders or to monitor the health of women.
Intended Use
The AMH Fast Test Kit (Immunofluorescence Assay) is intended for in vitro quantitative determination of Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) in human serum and plasma samples.
About AMH
Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH), also known as Müllerian Inhibiting Substance (MIS), is a homodimeric glycoprotein from the TGF-β family, with a molecular weight of 140 kDa. AMH plays a major role in cell growth and differentiation and is critical during gender differentiation in embryo development. In male fetuses, AMH secreted by Sertoli cells causes regression of the Müllerian ducts, allowing the normal development of male genitals. In females, the absence of AMH permits the Müllerian ducts to develop into internal female genital organs.
